Christmas pajamas are my jam! Sorry Alex I could resist sharing some of these amazing sets from Target!
Every year I love getting new pajamas for Christmas. This year I love the idea of all of us having matching ones. Not only will this year be super fun with a toddler but it’s our first year staying home Christmas morning. I cannot wait to see Tinley walk down the stairs to see all of the presents. It makes me choke up just thinking about it.
If you don’t have a family just yet get a set for you and your friends. This year I’m hoping to plan a pajama Christmas party and do a pajama exchange. It’s kind of like a gift exchange but instead of a candle or perfume a pair of jammies. How cute would it be though if we were all matching? I think I should suggest this right away.
I’m eyeing those Burt’s Bee jammies something fierce so those might come home with me. Or I might be totally basic and get the Magnolia collection, you’ll have to wait for Christmas morning to find out!

Everything we do is an adventure. Even going to the grocery store we say we are going on an adventure. Halloween was no exception and we went on quite the adventure!
Fall is like half way over, I know but it just dropped temps around here. Give a girl a break I’m trying so hard to get into the fall spirit. When it’s still 80 degrees it’s hard for me to dream of cider and pumpkin carving. The highest high next week is 54 degrees and rainy so I think it’s time for me to get started on my Fall bucket list.
Roast Pumpkin Seeds
I’M. ADDICTED. Really though the best part of carving pumpkins are the roasted seeds.
Buy Rain Boots for Myself and Tinley
In my 24 years of life I have never owned a pair of rain boots. Young Meg would stomp around barefoot or duck boots (before they were cool.) This year I want to invest in some nice rain boots. My dream would be get the Hunter boots but I don’t know if I’m ready for that investment. I want to jump in puddles and play in the rain. Tinley will probably get some from Target this Fall. ThredUP will probably be my source for boots for her.You never know my Fall footwear might be found on there too.
Finish a room
Seriously we start one room, hit a road block and move on. I really just want one room complete and be able to enjoy it. The play room has promise and so does my office. This requires a lot of kicks in the butt for my husband. Also I have to pray he gets them done before the snow falls and then I really won’t see him.
Be a better friend
This might be sad but I’m a horrible friend. Well not HORRIBLE. I just suck at making time for my friends. My friends are pretty awesome and I need to make more time for them. So this Fall I’m going to try my best to be a better buddy. Some parties are already in the works. Maybe a movie night or two this Fall. Bonfires are for sure going to happen. Really my friends need to know how much I love them and I’m going to get better at showing them that.
Alex’s Pick: Go Braaaap Braaaap
In non-boy, that means go snowmobiling. Last year we had about 2 days to go out and he’s itching to get out there. He fell in love with going up north and riding on the lake. We love snowmobiling and I know I can’t wait to share that part of us with Tinley.
